The Story

A walking safari changes everything. Away from the engine noise, the bush comes alive with detail — the alarm calls of birds, the freshness of a track, the scent of wild herbs underfoot. Accompanied by an armed park ranger and an expert walking guide, you'll explore the woodland and escarpment fringes of Lake Manyara on foot.

This is less about big game and more about the small wonders most safaris miss: dung beetles at work, medicinal plants, weaver colonies, and the simple thrill of being part of the landscape rather than passing through it.
